What is a Via Ferrata?
A VĂa Ferrata is a climbing path in the mountain equipped with metallic stairs that make it easier to climb through, In this specific case, this path goes around cliffs over the Mediterranean sea in la Costa Brava. Is it difficult?
The rank of difficulty in Vias Ferratas, goes from level K1 the easiest ones to level K6 the most dificult ones. This rank is evaluated by the physical, endurance, knowledge and psychologicalrequirements of the rout. The first part of Cala del molĂ we can consider as K2, it can be challenging for beginners, and the last part a K4, more advanced.
How long does it take?
To do the everything until the long bridge, it take saround 2 hours. In some cases, we find a lot of people already there because of the beauty of the scenery. In this case it will take a bit longer depending who we have in front of us.

What do I need to bring?
We recommend you to carry the minimum gear during the activity.
- Comfortable clothing
- Mountain shoes (or sportive shoe with non flat sole)
- Sunscreen
- Water
- Snacks
- Ceycling gloves (you need you fingertips free to be able to use the carabiners)
- Small bag if you need it
- «Vogue» attitude for pictures
